Whitmore Marine & Shipping, Inc. is a family-owned ocean carrier and ship agency located in Mobile, Alabama. Since 1974 we have provided dependable, personal service to shippers moving cargo between the U.S. Gulf Coast and Central America.
Our own vessels offer weekly sailings from Mobile to Puerto Cortés, Honduras and Santo Tomás de Castilla, Guatemala, and monthly sailings to Roatán and Belize City. We handle dry and refrigerated containers, vehicles, heavy equipment, breakbulk and project cargo.
We are not the biggest carrier on the Gulf, and we don't try to be. When you call Whitmore you will talk to someone who knows your cargo and your account — usually one of the family.
